No doubt. I’m trans. Have a BS in CS. I was looking for a job in a field with a 20 year work history..precovid. Took me two years. In desperation I went to a temp agency…overheard the boss telling them to not let anyone go without a job offer. They told me they had none.

Here’s the fun bureaucracy I’ve experienced so far as an Ida evacuee:
1. Denied by FEMA for unknown reasons.
2. Denied coverage by my insurance because my evac from New Orleans wasn’t officially mandatory.
3. Told that my insurance denial can be used to appeal FEMA’s denial.

I just had a complete stranger do something very nice for me that he didn’t have to do. When I said thank you and told him how much I appreciated it, he said, “We should all appreciate each other more. Do something nice for someone today”
And it just made my day 🙏🏻
