@scottsantens: Republican members of Congress also aren’t wrong to not actually care about the deficit. They’re only wrong about how they use it. The deficit should be used to benefit ALL OF US, not only the rich, and the debt ceiling is a bogus limit on what we can do.

@RBReich: Not to minimize the horror of 9/11, but those attacks killed 3,000 Americans; at least that many are now dying of COVID every two days. Yet Republican politicians are threatening civil war over requirements for masks and vaccinations?

@scottsantens: “Republican Ohio legislative leaders have proposed new state House & Senate maps that if passed, likely would award them a disproportionately large share of seats, allowing them to maintain their veto-proof majority despite new rules meant to discourage partisan gerrymandering.”

@OccupyDemocrats: BREAKING: The Arizona Republican Senators who ordered the phony Maricopa County “audit” launch a MASSIVE coverup, refusing a judge’s order to turn over 2,902 emails & texts between them and the “Cyber Ninja” firm they hired to run it. RT IF YOU THINK THE JUDGE MUST LOCK THEM UP!

@RBReich: It’s a vicious cycle. As Trump continues to stoke his base with his big lie that the election was stolen, Republican lawmakers – out to advance their careers – are adding fuel to the fire, pushing more Americans into Trump’s nightmare.

@IrfanDhalla: Very glad to see this pressure on @US_FDA from both Democrat and Republican legislators, as well as pediatricians. The “last mile” vaccination strategy must include our children, and the sooner we can do this safely the better.
