@NicholsUprising: “We aren’t an island. I mean, the disease is going to continue to come back to us.”— ⁦Representative @RoKhanna⁩ on why it is vital to get aid to India and other nations that are fighting COVID, and to remove barriers to global vaccine manufacturing

@RoKhanna: Let’s be clear—this debate was never about quality control over manufacturing vaccines. It was about money & greed. I was trolled repeatedly by people in my own party for calling on Biden to waive this.Thank you @POTUS for putting life & dignity over very powerful interests.

@FundForHumanity: America’s farmers became workers in the exploding manufacturing economy which was able to absorb millions. In 2021, there is no equivalent sector that is creating that many jobs. At the end of 2020, Alphabet (Google’s parent company) had 135,301 full-time employees.

@ubi_works: Our most common jobs are also at the highest risk of automation: drivers, food workers, retail, manufacturing, construction, EAs.It’s not a coincidence. That’s a lot of ‘overhead’ to save with technology.#UBI helps Canadians transition through the 4th industrial revolution.
