@Rob_Richie: I’m quoted in @KnowableMag profile of the great progress for ranked choice voting in the USA — on my optimism for RCV becoming the norm & “I’ve seen candidates walk past a yard sign for their opponent and knock on the door to talk to someone anyway.”

@scottsantens: Tomorrow I will share the link to the article I’ve been working on all year. If you want to get warmed up for it, I recommend listening to this talk by @StephanieKelton to get an intro to MMT before spending over an hour reading my article on MMT and UBI.

@AndrewYang: Every time I’ve done something important that meant a lot to me I’ve made some friends and lost some. Generally much more of the former. 😀

@scottsantens: Feels really good to be done with something I’ve worked on for almost a year. At over 13,000 words it’s kind of like a small book. Next up, I need to record and edit the audio so people can listen to it too, and hopefully I’ll finally push the publish button one week from now…

@scottsantens: Here’s the fun bureaucracy I’ve experienced so far as an Ida evacuee:1. Denied by FEMA for unknown reasons.2. Denied coverage by my insurance because my evac from New Orleans wasn’t officially mandatory.3. Told that my insurance denial can be used to appeal FEMA’s denial.
