We must take on the greed of the pharmaceutical industry, allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices, and save taxpayers some $ 600 billion. We can then use those savings to expand Medicare to cover dental, vision and hearing aids and lower the eligibility age to 60.

As we fight for Medicare for All, we can expand Medicare by:
1️⃣ Lowering the eligibility age
2️⃣ Improving benefits to cover dental, vision, and hearing
3️⃣ Empowering Medicare to negotiate drug prices for everyone
These are widely popular measures—@POTUS must deliver on them.

The President made a commitment in the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force to lower prescription drug costs, and use the savings to expand Medicaid.

Healthcare is a human right, not a job benefit. A major step forward toward Medicare for All is to negotiate prescription drug prices, and use the $ 500 billion in savings to expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing and vision – and lower the eligibility age to 55.

“The pharmaceutical industry, the most powerful lobby in Washington, believes that their wealth and power can prevent Congress and the president from taking action to expand Medicare and lower prescription drug prices. Well, I disagree.” – @SenSandershttps://t.co/14KB9fcf6t

The goal of vaccines is to save lives and crush the pandemic, not increase drug company profits. I applaud the President for backing the waiver of intellectual property rights for COVID vaccines. It’s nice to see the USA lead the world on a global justice issue.

Congress must finally stand up to the greed of the pharmaceutical industry. Medicare must negotiate prescription drug prices, and we must use the $ 450 billion in savings to expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing and vision. We must also lower Medicare age eligibility.
